Re: Registering and Paying for AP exams

General AP Exam Information: Taking AP exams is an important part of all AP courses. Students enrolled in AP courses are expected to take the AP exam. Scoring well on an AP exam often earns students college credit for their high school class, saving a significant amount on tuition or it can advance their standing in a particular course sequence. To check the specific policy of most colleges and universities regarding AP scores, please visit http://www.collegeboard.com/ap/creditpolicy.

Deadlines & Fees: Each AP exam costs $100 and payment is due by Friday, October 29, 2021. Exam registrations after the October 29 deadline will incur an additional $40 per exam fee. If a student decides to cancel an AP exam after November 15 there will be a fee of $40 for each exam canceled. If a student decides to cancel an AP exam after February 1, the student will not receive a refund. As always, if a student qualifies for free/reduced lunch, their exam fee will be waived.

Registration Process: Next week AP students and their parents will receive additional information on registering and paying for AP exams on MySchoolBucks.

The AP exam dates for May 2022 are available on the College Board website. Specific times and locations will be announced in April.

If you have any questions please contact your student's AP teacher or AP Coordinator, Ursula Fraley.
