PARENT COACHES & VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Click here for more information about becoming a Parent Coach or Volunteer

EXPLORE What if you could build a better world? Where would you begin? More than ever, we must come together to innovate and solve problems. In FIRST®, you are part of a thriving community brimming with inspiration, creativity, and hope for a stronger, more sustainable future—one that’s built better together. You have the power to help the cities, towns, and places you call home reach new heights. With the support of the FIRST® community, this is your opportunity to lead our future forward—and up.

CREATE and TEST Design and create a building for Boomtown. Use the LEGO® Inspire Model CRANE and other elements to help you. Show your ideas for how to solve one or more of the problems you explored. Use the LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0 to build and program at least one motorized part of your Boomtown.

SHARE Make a Show Me poster! Use it and your Boomtown to share what you have learned with others. Teams will present their designs at the LEGO® Expo held at FHS on January 26, 2020.

  • Enrollment is limited to 6 children per team
  • Children are grouped on teams by grade
  • The number of teams is based on the number of Parent coaches. To become a coach, contact the LEGO® League Coordinator, Lisa Nollman, at (860) 676-8729.
