The Career Center

The Career Center mission is to offer all FHS students opportunities to discover and explore their career interests and develop skills that will prepare them for higher education, community involvement and career success.

Do you ever wonder . . . . . .

What will I do with my life?

What type of career will best match my skills, interests, and personality?

The Career Center at Farmington High School can help answer these questions so you can begin to plan for the future.

The Career Center, located in Room 161, houses a conference room, college and career resource library and computers for student use. Career Center professionals advise students and coordinate a variety of career exploration events and activities.

In addition, seminar classes, like E-Commerce & Entrepreneurship, Education Internship and Freshmen Guidance Seminars meet in the Career Center .

Students may get a pass to visit the Career Center during a study hall, call or e-mail to make an appointment.

Career exploration events and local employment and volunteer opportunities are posted on a bulletin board located outside the Career Center.
