The I.A.R. Library welcomes parent volunteers! If you are interested in working in the library, please contact library assistant Donna Nicklis at 674-9612.
Our volunteers primarily work at shelving books, an invaluable service to our school community. Most volunteers come in for an hour or so every week on a regular basis.
Other weekly volunteers work at processing magazines as they come in and make copies of articles for teachers to use.
We also often have special projects from time to time. One volunteer, for example, put articles into plastic sleeves within binders and typed up a table of contents for each binder which will be used in Social Studies classes.
The annual I.A.R, Book Fair will be held in mid December this year. Parent volunteers are vital to the success of the Fair, whether it involves helping set up the Fair, working at the cashier desk, keeping the books in order, or packing up. Please call Donna Nicklis if you're interested in helping with this worthwhile activity.
