Welcome to the Farmington Public Schools Music Department Webpage. Through this page you will be able to locate up-to-date information regarding our music program. This includes an updated calendar indicating performances, rehearsals, and special programs.

We encourage you to use this site as your source of information about in-school programs, district-wide and co-curricular activities. There is also a link to our Friends  of Music organization, a parent support group. Many individual teachers have developed web pages that support teaching and learning in the classroom. You may visit these web pages through the district site at fpsct.org and select faculty/staff at the specific building of your student’s teacher.

Our music department is committed to providing all students with a quality education in Music through the processes of creating, performing and responding. Our music program provides students with a rigorous curriculum leading to challenging opportunities to understand a wide variety of musical styles and periods in music illuminating the culture in which it which it was produced.
