Hello!

   I am very happy to be teaching string instruments at IAR Middle School this year. I have enjoyed teaching in the Farmington School District for the past 10 years. In fact, I have been a music teacher for over 25 years including teaching violin, viola and cello at the Neighborhood Music School in New Haven for the past 18 years.

   I have also been a member of many orchestras and I held the position of Artist in Residence for the North Carolina Department of Community Colleges where I played over 100 solo performances a year for four years. You can hear me play from time to time around Connecticut and Massachusetts. My wife, Ellen and I have one son, Kavan, who serves in the United States Marine Corps.
